Pacientes soropositivos ou com SIDA atendidos no Setor de DST da UFF
Abstract
Acquired Inununodefficiency Syndrome may be associated with other sexually transmitted diseases (STD). Condiloma acuminatum was, followed by syphilis, the most often STD diagnosed among 35 HIV seroreactive outpatients in the Universidade Federal Fluminense STD clinic. Low scholarity and socioeconomic levels, as well as poor sexual education, were conunon findings with these population. We have found an incidence rate of 6.1 % for HIV infection, just as anotber study carried out in a STD clinic in Baltimore, USA.
